This Mining Services business based in the CBD require the assistance of an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team of five on a 6 month contract basis to assist with month end, year end and audit. You will be joining a high performing and dynamic team environment. Once trained, you will enjoy two days work from home.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the finance team of 5, the responsibilities of the role will include,
- Month end processing (journals, accrual, prepayments, inter-company)
- General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of BAS, FBT, GST and Payroll tax
- Cash-flow reporting and fixed asset register maintenance
- Assisting with management reporting and variance analysis
- Assisting with year end and audit preparation
The successful applicant will have/be,
- CA or CPA qualified with commercial experience
- Resources industry experience and D365 experience highly regarded
- A strong attention to detail and well developed organisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and positive team player
- Great team environment
- Commence ASAP - CBD location
- 2 days work from home
- $120K + super - 6 month contract
