People and Culture Advisor

Ko wai mātou | The Organisation
We are partnering with a well-known New Zealand organisation operating across multiple brands and business units. Supporting more than 1,000 employees nationally, they are passionate about practical people solutions, continuous improvement, and building smart systems that enable managers and teams to thrive.

You’ll be joining a small, collaborative HR team that values professionalism, zero politics, and genuine teamwork.

We’re seeking a senior People & Culture Advisor who enjoys the employee relations (ER) space and is excited by systems, workflows, and continuous improvement. About 80% of the role focuses on ER advisory work (performance, disciplinary, change processes, and case management), with a growing focus on optimising workflows, supporting system rollouts, and building self-service tools.

You’ll partner across six different businesses, supporting leaders through day-to-day challenges while helping shape smarter, scalable people practices. You’ll also play a key role in the implementation and development of the new HR case management system.

  • Confidence working in fluid, fast-moving environments where priorities can shift
  • Exposure to HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and a systems-mindset
  • Comfort supporting multiple brands or business units within one group
  • A collaborative style, strong sense of professionalism, and a low-ego, no-drama attitude
  • A passion for building smarter, self-service HR solutions and optimising workflows
  • Industry background is flexible—we're open to candidates who have thrived in multi-brand or multi-entity environments even if outside of traditional corporate sectors.
