Legal Administration Assistant

THE ROLE
As a legal administration assistant your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct administrative support to two partners, including managing their calendars & scheduling meetings.
- Assist with the preparation of billing and processing invoices.
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as subpoenas, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Assist the partners with preparing case files, creating and maintaining on-line briefs, maintaining legal records, and ensuring documentation is up to date.
- Manage client communications, and relay important information to the partners as needed.
- Ensure confidential client information is handled in accordance with procedures and ethical guidelines.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing office supplies, and handling mail.
- Assist with other duties as required by the partners, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the firm.

ABOUT YOU
To qualify as a desirable candidate for this firm, you will have the following:
- Over two years of experience in insurance as a legal admin assistant
- Proven ability to manage complex information and ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Being proficiently organsied when handling multiple tasks
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, essential for drafting legal documents, interacting with clients, and collaborating with legal teams.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management, taking ownership of responsibilities
