The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Commercial / Leasing Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years PQE to join the firm's commercial team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team, primarily reporting to an Associate, with direct oversight from the firm's Director. Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting due diligence for commercial transactions;
  • Drafting and reviewing documents such as deeds, shareholder agreements, and other commercial contracts;
  • Providing legal advice in relation to a range of commercial law matters;
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and professional experience;
  • Assisting with general legal research and administrative support where required.
This role offers exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with sophisticated clients.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in commercial / leasing law;
  • Strong experience with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including deeds and shareholder agreements;
  • A meticulous approach to detail and a commitment to providing top-tier client service;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle busy periods (e.g., post-June 30 and the lead-up to Christmas);
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
