THE FIRM
Located close to public transport, this well-established Melbourne law firm has a great reputation for professionalism and positive workplace culture. Their expertise includes Business Law, Property Law, Commercial Litigation, and Family Law and they pride themselves on their industry experience and personal service and understanding that only a client-focused, smaller firm can provide. This firm encourages a supportive environment to ensure growth and development. This is a permanent part time (3 days per week) opportunity.
THE ROLE
- End to end payroll - fortnightly paycycle for 80 employees
- Ensure all tax and statutory reporting deadlines are met
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- End of month tasks including posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Oversee billing and debtor management
- Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance and support to a team of 2 accounts clerks
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience working in legal or professional services
- Working knowledge of trust accounting rules and regulations
- The ability to foster teamwork and provide leadership
- Experience using practice management systems such as Affinity, Aderant, Elite3E or similar
