Finance Controller

The Company
We are working with this APAC services business based in Brisbane. They are looking to recruit a technically strong, but commercially aware senior finance professional. The Finance Controller will drive the group reporting, lead the finance team as well as navigate some of the commercial operations of the business understanding key business initiatives. The role has tremendous exposure across all areas of the business & its operations, working closely with other operational heads.

The Role
Reporting into the Group CFO, your role will be all encompassing, covering these key areas:
Production of all group month end reporting & analysis
Work closely with the CFO with the corporate reporting & consolidation
Lead and manage a finance team, with a mix of qualified and transactional staff
Help drive and improve new systems, controls and processes within the business.
Liaise across the different divisional heads understanding key business operations.

About You
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
CA / CPA Qualified. Practice background initially preferred but not essential.
Ability to communicate across all divisional heads, with a sound, can-do attitude
Strong technical accounting ability with good stakeholder engagement
Drive, mentor, and develop a small but well established finance team
