About the role:
The position as Accounts Payable officer sits under the MS AP and Treasury team in the Business Support group. This role will be responsible to validating all transitions to ensure compliance is adhered to and working with appropriate stakeholders as required. The role is quite diverse covering aspects of expense management, preparation of monthly payment runs, working with offshore BPO teams and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor workflow and priorities payment requests on a daily basis ensuring all cases are efficiently and accurately processed.
- Verifying accuracy of incoming payment requests including pick up an abnormal items and duplication
- Processing consumer refund claims /invoice/ employee expense with accuracy in accordance with the policies.
- Preparing weekly and bimonthly payment runs.
- Resolving queries raised by bank in regards to payment request transactions.
- Providing system and policy support to employees
- Accounting or related tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated experience account financial verifications
