They are now looking for a motivated and commercially minded Financial Accountant to support their mission to grow, ensuring resources and support reach those most in need.
about the role
Working within the Finance team, this role will have responsibility of a couple of core divisions in the business and supporting the Snr Financial Accountant to ensure the organisation maintains adherence to accounting standards. You will be responsible for:-
- EOM preparation including reconciliations, journals and accruals
- EOM reporting including commentary
- Fixed asset maintenance
- Assist in the preparation of BAS, FBT and Income Tax
- Preparation of audit work papers and assist in statutory reporting
- Work with the finance team to identify opportunities for improvement of processes and controls
about you
Ideally CA/CPA qualified (or near to), you will have solid financial accounting experience within a multi entity environment. You will describe yourself as motivated, eager to learn and as someone with a strong eye for detail/ technically focused. We’re looking for a team player who enjoys working within a collaborative team environment with a focus on developing best practice and supporting each other to ensure they are delivering timely and accurate results for the business.
