Thinking About a Career in Recruitment? Why I Joined people2people and Why You Should Too

At the time of writing, I am coming up to being with people2people for 12 months and I have to say it’s been quite the learning curve. It can be completely overwhelming when you’re first starting out, I’ve been there. At people2people, you have access to some of the most exceptional recruitment professionals who will offer you all of the advice and support you need, right when you need it. You are truly set up for success. Here’s why…..

people2people are big on best practice processes, Training and Development. You are equipped from your first day with all the tools you need to develop and run a successful ‘desk.’ Which, as you learn, is essentially your own small business with your own personal brand. You never stop learning, even our Managing Director sits in on every training session to refresh and to continue to develop and learn with the team.

These workshops and training sessions are frequent and run by many different people in the business. This is great, because we don’t all learn in the same manner and we don’t all teach in the same manner, either. So, having different insights from different people is key to it being valuable for all of us.

Everyone across the business is at a different stage of their career. So when you’re starting out and in complete business development mode, chances are you won’t be alone and can tackle those sometimes tough phone calls with someone beside you, sharing the same experience.

We also have an online training portal that is available for you, anytime you need or want it. Any questions you have, chances are there is a video you can watch and content to read.

You have all of the support you need to become an expert in your market and offer that consultative approach to your clients and candidates, and it’s also a lot of fun within a great team of like-minded professionals. I’m certainly looking forward to seeing what the next year has in store for all of us!

We’re currently looking for graduates to join us, so if you have thought about becoming a recruitment consultant, we would love to hear from you.
