Does being a recruiter mean you don’t want to talk to anyone on weekends?
I love to talk. I could pretty much have a conversation with a brick wall…! That’s one of the reasons I joined the recruitment industry.
These days, after a long week of being on the ‘phone and in meetings, all I want to do is have some quiet ‘me time’. This is probably a really good idea for recruiters and anyone with a job that can be stressful at times!
Having some relaxing down time is really important to de stress and regroup. Going for a swim, listening to your favourite song, a walk or just a long soak in the tub.
In this day and age, I have never needed it more! Half of the sick days that were taken last year in the Australian workplace were from stress, we need to have sustainable jobs and lifestyles for a happy, healthier workforce.
