Maria Mexis

On Friday 8 February 2019, our colleague and friend, Maria lost her battle with cancer.She was just 45 years old.No one could have fought harder than Maria, she gave it everything she had. Those of you lucky enough to have worked closely with and knew Maria, knew this was typical of her. Her work ethic was incredible and beyond reproach. Maria gave a 100% commitment to her clients, candidates and her colleagues. Maria was one of the five original employees of people2people in 2005, alongside Kirsten Garrett, Simon Gressier, Manda Milling and Mark Smith and remained an employee until the day she passed away. We always thought she would return.In 2005, there were five of us in that small room in Market St, Sydney and we absolutely would not be where we are today, without her invaluable contribution and utter dedication. She was a people2people person through and through.Maria went on to win numerous awards at people2people and she was so proud when she won, Outstanding Client Care 2007, Best Candidate Care 2008 and Top Biller Permanent Recruitment in 2010 & 2011.
