What's up dog?
Both Joey and Bella have played a huge role in our lives since they both came into them. We got Joey and the start of 2020 when he was two years old. He was desperate for love and we had lots to give. Bella Joined the family as a puppy in 2021. Tehya, Dog mum, has spent the most of the last four years working from home due to COVID, floods and now agreed working arrangements. Joey has a special spot on the lounge where he can sit and stare at Trhya while she works. He's an extremely cuddly dog so at any point during the day someone needs a cuddle he's there to offer one. Bella's favourite spot is at Tehya's feet while she works, often leaving Tehya with no room to put her feet. We've had some tough days the past four years. Tehya remembers one day when things got a bit much and she burst into tears, Bella ran across the room to lick the tears off Tehya's face and make sure she was okay.
Joey and Bella are extremely intelligent dogs so it feels like they are in tune with our feelings and just know when we need that little bit of extra love.
Being active dogs they have helped us be active people. On days where we might have opted to sit on the lounge all day we are now usually out and about going on adventures, walks and playing with Joey and Bella.
Joey and Bella are part of the family, often called Furry grandchildren or furry cousins. They both have special relationships with the whole family, who completely adore them.
Joey and Bella's social media platforms, which have a combined following of 13K+ people, are positive spaces where we share content about Joey and Bella's happy, crazy personalities and their connections with their humans. The accounts are followed by strangers but also friends, family and co-works of Tehya and Tim, dog Dad.
Bella was lucky enough to feature on the Q-Super Centre 2023 calendar so her little happy face will be on the fridge in many peoples houses. We made sure every family member and close friend had a copy for themselves as well as one each for the work office fridges!
Without Joey and Bella our lives would be completely different. Our home quiet and our hearts a little less full. They are the shining lights in our lives.
